The "Cat scarf" story.
The idea of this scarf to illustrate imaginary world.
I developed this concept after i did discovered that the most watched content in the internet is - cat videos.
I was inspired by that and by the idea that we tend to consume "garbage content" daily in the internet. (like all cat videos).
The questions i asked my self, is why.
why, we are so fond of a bit stupid and funny videos of cats.
why is that silly content so popular?
After some research ,i discovered that we like those because we feel stress relief when we watch those videos.
So, the idea of the scarf was to create a world that brings the "love for videos with cats" to an edge and make it a bit critical and fanny.
That's why i made some seamless pattern of : eyes, cat content tangles, pipes and little clouds.
I made it in pop colors and style, to increase the idea of imaginary and delusional world.
I made 4 screens for the scarf and by overlapping the colors made more color variations in the design.
I designed it , so every corner is different, so you can wear it differently each time and switch the side daily so it can match different outfits.
